Metamorphosis

Snowlike softness wraps her form, pure and alabaster,
Gentle eyes searching forth, for one that she calls "Master."
Her face upturned and arms stretched high and clothed in bright array,
Her unbound tresses left to curl in a silken blonde cascade.

Voices lilt on winds of night, he calls out for his lover,
To him she runs with heart afire, to find him with another.
The silent scream of broken trust bursts her heart like ice,
What once was pure and hers alone revealed as pure device.

Unseen, unheard, her steps retreat to chambers' shadows dark,
Undone, unloved her countenance fades, and grief will play its part.
Withdrawn to quiet solitude betrayal takes its toll,
Ever shutting out the light, the darkness makes her whole.

With thundering heart and eyes ablaze what once was alabaster,
Now breaks from sorrow's cocoon anew, serving a new master.
Seeking out her lover's chambers, every step in place,
The motion silent, smooth and soft, as the smile upon her face.

Eyes of fire meet his gaze and then fall to his lover,
With a serpent's grace her strike is true through one and to the other.
The rattling screams that fill the air are a balm unto her soul,
As rivulets thick and steamy red begin to drip and pool.

Impaled by flesh and now by steel, the mistress squirms beneath,
Each breath a struggle, each cry a strain both fighting certain death.
A delicate turn of hilted blade heightens painful screams,
His and hers a melody sweet borne of vengeful dreams.

Until at last the master slumps atop his lover whore,
His body a millstone dragging her down, toward death's open door.
Gurgles, screams, and whimpered pleading echo through the night,
Til dawn's light breaks and at long last, life ebbs and ends the fight.

And from the heap the sword is drawn with slightest hesitation,
Steel through flesh, with warm resistance bringing revelation.
A shuddered sigh of pleasures new, her body swallowed whole,
By flames of darkness licking flesh and filling her empty soul.
